Here’s another pipe that’s been created for our Patreon members to vote on as a potential “Shape of the Month” for August. I used this stummel shape in a previous pipe with a more Peterson-style stem, but I think this tapered stem is a more natural match – The triangular form of the taper echoes the triangular form of the bowl and the shorter, more squat proportions overall suit the low, fat bowl chamber. These have one of the biggest chamber diameters in the Ligne Bretagne pipes and perform well with pretty much any sort of tobacco you can pack into them, unlike some of the others that are more tobacco-style-specific.
