"Out of Stock" messages during check-out mean that the pipe has already sold, but I have not yet updated the catalog page to reflect its "Sold" status.

Contrast stain application is a slow and time consuming process, but I heard about a new recipe and wanted to try it out, and we had all these partly-finished Ligne Bretagnes here, so voila... Here, the final color is all contrast, no stain. I ended up just leaving the highlights as natural briar because I like the "black and tan" look of the pipe, and it really helped the grain to pop. Speaking of, I'm sure someone is wondering why it's priced lower given how striking the grain is, and it's because it has a couple of small flaw spots, one visible on the front of the bowl in the pics above. Nothing of danger, just natural cosmetic spots, but it did reduce the final price. For the folks who don't sit and go over their pipes with a magnifier, it's a *nice* bit of briar grain for the money!
