"Out of Stock" messages during check-out mean that the pipe has already sold, but I have not yet updated the catalog page to reflect its "Sold" status.

I made this one and #1917LB as a pair because I was curious to see how this new rustication technique would look when applied in two different ways to a pipe with a bowl ring. With this pipe, I treated above-ring and below-ring as separate, and took the carving in opposing directions, whereas on #1917LB I carved the bowl first with all carving flowing in one continuous arc and then cut the bowl ring after. This is one of the reasons I love this new finish, purely for the fun and curiosity of seeing how it can be tweaked and modified to conform to all of the varying Ligne Bretagne shapes.

As pipes, these oval-shank designs are among the larger of the Ligne Bretagne shape range - While they are short in length, the bowls are wider and larger in capacity than a lot of the other LBs.
